SAMA supported patients at the large Psychiatric Hospital in Vršac—one of the region’s major psychiatric care centers—by donating 50 anti-decubitus mattresses with protective covers. Many of the hospital’s existing mattresses had not been replaced for more than 30 years, significantly impacting patient comfort and care. This donation helps improve basic living conditions, reduce the risk of pressure ulcers, and restore dignity for patients receiving long-term treatment.
