Our first S.A.M.A. tennis open 2016 surpassed our expectations. We had about 60 participants, players and nonplayers. The tournament itself was marked by friendship and a tremendous sense of community. Our adult finalists were Stefan Rodić and Marko Živković. After a terrific match, Stefan won in a third set tie-breaker. Later, in the evening, we had the chance to hear Zoran Mladenović’s presentation on S.A.M.A.’ s most recent accomplishments. We are so grateful to restaurant Ambar donating the wonderful dinner. This fundraiser was a great success in every way. We collected $4610, all of which will go toward our next project in Serbia (more after we return from Serbia in October…).
