Nada PhotoLetter From The President

Dear Friends of SAMA,

This is the first annual letter from our organization. I would like to thank all of our supporters, and to give you the report about the year behind us and the one in front of us.

Because of your big hearts and our big expectations, SAMA has grown slowly and steadily from its humble beginnings. In the last two years we have had three very successful fund-raisers and completed two significant projects that have impacted a large number of patients and health providers in Serbia. The third project is being formulated as we speak, and it will focus on children and women's health. Read More...

Mali Idjos - photoTrip to Serbia - report by Dr. Ivan Aksentijevich

Between January 13th and January 22nd, I visited five cities, and several health centers/hospitals throughout Serbia. I met many people, including medical students, physicians, faculty and journalists. I completed the registration of SAMA as a humanitarian organization in Serbia, visited the offices of "Srbi za Srbe" a not-for-profit humanitarian organization, and met people from "Communis" an international public relation firm. SAMA appeared on four TV shows, including Studio B TV, SkyPlus TV, Happy TV, and was interviewed by "Večernje Novosti", a daily national newspaper. SAMA did not incur any expense for this trip.  Read More...

Laza Lazarevic - photoCall to Action

Dear Friends and Members of SAMA,

We can all be extremely proud of our accomplishments over the past year. In a little bit more then a year, SAMA has grown slowly and steadily and with your generous support completed a number of well worthy projects. This letter summarizes our activities and accomplishments in the past year and outlines our goals for this year and the future.

During 2013 we were able to accomplish a number of our initial goals:

We have raised around $40,000. This was achieved through online contributions as well as fundraising events of which the most notable were: Annual Walk; Wine & Cheese Social and Concert of Serbian Music. The total expense for staging of these events was less then 5% of the funds raised.   Read More...
